Lucie and Klype

Half a billion years later a ship arrived in the star system. It was shaped as a water drop, at the size of a house, blue, and with some changing patterns. Its deceleration at 10 G indicated that there were living beings inside. Two oval panels at the outside of the ship, folded out like wings and caught energy from the star. The ship sat the course directly towards Terra and landed on its moon. It rested here and started maintenance after the long journey.

Inside the ship, automatic lights, heating and screens were activated. Two crypts were lit and activated. After a while, the covers opened and condense got out. Finally, two life signs were shown and two rather different humanoids crawled out. They were clearly tired, stiff and out of shape. Morning rituals, like washing, dressing, eating were done automatically. After a couple of hours, they went to their posts and controlled status, while the ship consumed energy from the star.

Lucie broke the silence by saying; it looks rather good in here. Klype responded with a uninterested yes. Outside though, there is a real mess, she said.

Lucie, as the first being was called, was obviously very satisfied with her well designed body. She checked its various function in several ways[V1] .

Klype, as the other being was called, peaked at here discretely with envy. His own body showed signs of beating, inactivity and thralldom[V2] .
