450, Oort planetThen the shadow of a medium sized planet became visible at a distance of 80 A.U.. It was 10,000 km. in diameter and thereby 10 times the size of the iceberg. The planet's gravitation pulled the iceberg towards itself, and the engines at the berg started to adjust the course towards it. The iceberg’s fall towards the planet was determined. The Oort planet was hit directly by the iceberg. If the planet did not entirely consisted of hard matter, it might have been broken. Instead the planet consumed the ice. The planet got only one tenth of the iceberg’s speed as a kick start in the star’s direction. In addition, the planet followed its own slightly oval orbit around the star, and thereby had some additional speed of its own. Even though the starting fall was merely 1 km/day, the planet did accelerate continuously towards the 300,000 times as massive star. The Oort planet was followed by a lot of rocks and ice. Some stemmed from the iceberg and the planet itself. And several Kuiper objects was either dragged by, or knocked along. Some found their orbit around the planet, while others hung on after it like a tail. The planet even gained a thin ring.
That’s good Lucie told Klype. He was both relived and cheerful by the compliment. You deserve a cookie. Klype hated it when she called his drug that. It made him remember how addicted he had become and how superior that made her. But he took it with eager and felt more at ease. However, Lucie said, I have some questions to this scenario of yours. How likely is it? Well this scenario is based on the information of a crystal and thereby well documented. But it is a big time span in a dark area where not much happens. However, the fact that the crystal was found at the original location of the iceberg, 150 million years after the triggers, must mean that it has flown an oval circle. Furthermore, the impact with the Oort planet and its change in path is recorded and still documented. By the way, I call it an Oort planet even though it orginated in the Kuiper belt. You will see why he added. Lucie was very pleased and through him another cookie. That’s good; we are done with the iceberg. Now we know about the Oort planet and that it most probably has something to do about this solar mess. Keep up the good work, Klype, Lucie said. Klype was feeling much more at ease and even rather enthusiastic. I will do that, but I think there is insufficient recordings after that event. I have to make scenarios based on analyses the present situation, and not real recordings. Anyway, just do as fits best, just come up with something. And uh, she added, I like that movie presentation. Do that with the next ones too. Klype started right away. |
