300, 6th Planet

The two outer planets did not encounter the Oort planet this time. The sixth planet was at a crossing collision course though. The 100 times as massive Jovian planet pulled the visitor towards itself. But the force was not enough to catch it.

When the planets crossed, there was first a shower of rocks and ice. The objects hit the planet like in some global nuclear war. The objects caught fire in the atmosphere and exploded at the impact. Gasses spewed out so the planet soon was covered with blue gas. Finally, the impacts were no longer visible; just some distant blinks under the cover could be seen.

Then the Oort planet crossed the planet’s path and hit a moon directly. The moon was crushed to pebbles that flew in all directions. The Oort planet itself got a scar, but was not slowed down. Another moon was hit in the side and fell towards its mother planet. When the moon hit the surface, a ring of particles was blown out of the atmosphere. The moon was thrown out again, but not hard enough to break free. Consequently, it fell down again and caused another ring around the planet. Finally, the bits and pieces of the moon found their rest at the surface.

One of the planet’s moons, that is the size of a small planet, caught a considerable amount of ice from the Kuiper belt. The moon's warm core melted the ice and eventually, it got itself a primal atmosphere.

Another of the sixth planet’s moons had the same direction as the Oort planet. At first it was hit by rocks and ice, and then it was sucked into the Oort planet’s gravitation turbulence. Once again, the Oort planet dragged a moon towards the star.
