You have changed to a local dragon body, it was said. Lucie was nervous, because she had clearly broken the prohibition to interfere with alien cultures. It was unfortunately necessary to investigate closely, she answered. Did you not find the designed body appropriate? It was asked. Lucie did not dare to reply. She looked down at the table. Where is Klype, it was asked. He is unfortunately lost for ever, she answered with a low voice. There was a silence for a long time, but she knew they were communicating with each other.

This terraforming is not a part of any plan, they finally said. Lucie had a good idea of what that meant, but she chose to be silent. This terraforming is an error and will be undone, they said. We are here to end that error and to restore stability in this solar system. Lucie did not care, even though she thought Klype and his tribe. But no, it did not matter much, because she knew for certain the new plan would be executed.

Lucie’s relation to the angels was not good. They despised her and she avoided them. Their nature was anything but the same. She was spiritual like a detached soul. She could enter advanced livings and take their control. The angels were almost physical perfect, and masters of genetic engineering. Dogs and cats, men and women, light and dark, had more in common than spirits and angels.

Together, they could make synergies. But they seldom did. The angels despised her kind most of all for being detached and not quite reliable. They could not predict her next action and she could hide from them. She disliked their superior attitude, which put herself in an inferior position. That certainly did not encourage her corporation. She remembered  episodes where she intentionally did not do her best for their success. That was interpreted as bad, and even destructive, acts. They had even blamed her for being evil.

On occasions, like this, they had to cooperate. First, Lucie thought she could do without them and with assistance of Klype’s kind. Now, she had to admit that was a major mistake. She knew, they knew, and now she had to be put in place. Actually, that was exactly what she had been, caved in a dragon’s body. She was looking for a substitute and put her eyes on the biots outside. The angels caught her attention and said, don’t you dare. You are to wait her, in that dragon of yours, and wait for further instructions. The best you can do for the moment is, - nothing.
